Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data NeuralPrep may collect, why we use it, the third parties involved in running the service, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 19 March 2026

What we collect

Depending on how you use NeuralPrep, we may collect:

  • account details such as your email address and authentication identifiers;
  • usage data such as pages visited, feature use, and performance events;
  • practice history including attempts, scores, saved progress, recent activity, and stats;
  • subscription and billing records needed to manage Pro access;
  • device and technical data such as browser, approximate location, and diagnostics;
  • cookie and analytics preferences where relevant.

How we use your data

We use personal data to run and improve NeuralPrep. That includes:

  • creating and securing accounts;
  • saving progress, scores, recent activity, and personalised recommendations;
  • processing subscriptions and maintaining Pro access;
  • understanding product performance and usage patterns;
  • responding to support, security, and operational issues;
  • meeting legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations.

Our legal bases

Where UK data protection law applies, we usually rely on one or more of these grounds:

  • contract, where we need data to provide the service you asked for;
  • legitimate interests, where we use data to improve, secure, and operate the product responsibly;
  • consent, where we use optional analytics or similar tools that are not strictly necessary;
  • legal obligation, where we need to keep records or respond to lawful requests.

Cookies and analytics

NeuralPrep uses essential cookies for things like authentication and session handling. We also use optional analytics and performance tools to understand how the product is used.

Optional analytics are only enabled if you accept them through our cookie notice. You can change your choice by clearing your saved cookie preference and choosing again. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

Payments and subscriptions

If you buy Pro, payment processing is handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card details in NeuralPrep. We may receive billing status, customer identifiers, and subscription information needed to manage access and billing support.

Who we share data with

We may share data with service providers that help us run NeuralPrep, such as:

  • hosting and infrastructure providers;
  • authentication and database providers;
  • payment providers for billing and subscription management;
  • analytics and performance providers where you have accepted optional analytics.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep data

We keep account, subscription, and progress data for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain records.

We may remove or anonymise data when it is no longer needed. Exact retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and operational or legal requirements.

Your rights

Depending on where you are and what law applies, you may have rights to:

  • access your personal data;
  • ask for correction of inaccurate data;
  • ask for deletion in some circumstances;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent for optional analytics;
  • request a copy of data you provided to us where applicable.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we aim to use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections or providers with recognised compliance measures.

Contact and complaints

If you have privacy questions or want to exercise your data rights, contact us at support@neuralprep.app.

If you are in the UK and are unhappy with how your personal data has been handled, you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
